Matomo
We use the web analysis tool “Matomo” to optimize our website. We do not use Matomo with tracking cookies. In order to ensure a process that is particularly data privacy-friendly, we have deactivated the use of tracking cookies that is provided for in the basic Matomo configuration.

Matomo runs exclusively on servers in Europe. The information collected as a result of a website visit is only stored in Europe. The IP addresses are immediately anonymized by Matomo, thereby preventing visitors from being identified. The anonymous statistical data is stored separately from any personal information you may have provided on the website and does not allow any conclusions to be drawn about a specific person.
VI. DELETION OF DATA
Your data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer required in order to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected (after the end of your visit to our website or upon completion of the processing of your request via email/postal mail/telephone) and the deletion is not contrary to any statutory retention obligations.
VII. APPLICATION
Data collected and the purpose of its processing
When you apply for a job, we process data provided by you that we need as part of the application process. This may include contact details, all data related to the application (such as your CV, certificates, qualifications, answers to questions, etc.) and, if applicable, your bank details (for travel expense reimbursement).
Your data will of course be treated confidentially. We do not transmit such data to third parties. If service providers are necessary, we use providers that are strictly bound by our instructions, to support us in the areas of IT or the archiving and destruction of documents, and with whom separate contracts for data processing are concluded in order to ensure safe and legally compliant handling of your data.
Deletion of data
If no legal retention obligations exist, the data will be deleted as soon as storage of the data is no longer necessary. If an applicant is not hired, data deletion will usually take place no later than six months after completion of the application process. In certain instances, individual data items may be retained for a longer period of time (such as for travel expense reports). The duration of storage is then determined by the retention periods under tax law. Moreover, if your application is generally very interesting, but we nevertheless have no specific job to offer you at the point in time at which you submit your application, we will contact you via email to ask for your consent to include you in our applicant pool.
